Join thousands of Ottawans discovering vegan food, events, and community.
Creating a Kinder Future for Animals
Every year, many billions of animals are raised and killed to supply food for people around the world.
From large industrial farms to small-scale operations, animals such as cows, chickens and fish are bred specifically for consumption.
As awareness grows, more people are reflecting on where their food comes from and the consequences of these choices, and making changes
Plants Power Positive Change
Plant-based foods offer a practical way to nourish ourselves while reducing our impact on animals and the environment. Every meal is an opportunity to make choices that support a more sustainable future.

VEGAN ON THE SHELVES!
What if we could find more vegan books for free?
Â
Did you know that readers having a subscription to the Ottawa Public Library (OPL) or the Bibliothèque de Gatineau can suggest books that have been published for less than 2 years?
Â
If you live outside the Ottawa/Gatineau areas, check your local libraries. They may offer this possibility too!
Â
Let’s ask the libraries for more vegan books!
Our goal is to suggest 30 books in 30 days!
Our Office Hours

We will run this biweekly for June and July as an experiment to see if there is interest. Looking forward to chatting with you!
