VegOttawa Association

Who are we, and what do we do?

VegOttawa Association is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization committed to promoting and supporting plant-based and vegan lifestyle, bringing benefits such as reduced environmental impact, better individual and public health, and putting an end to animal exploitation.

• We partner with local veg-friendly businesses who provide discounts to our members.
• We host community events, including VegOttawa Fest and more.
• We advocate for plant-forward policy change, for animals, health, and the environment.
• We provide access to vegan resources.

The organization is funded by members and partnerships, and operated by volunteers, which means your volunteer support is needed!

📝We’re asking the City of Ottawa to prioritize plants – add your voice by signing our petition! 📝

VegOttawa Fest is back! It happened on July 5 2025, and will be back in 2026. To stay updated watch this space or follow us on socials @vegottawa. In the meantime, join us at some of our other events!

As we are a non-profit organization, your support will help us continue to advocate for the animals, the environment and health, and provide vegan resources and community support. Send a donation by e-transfer to info@vegottawa.org with “Donation” in the memo.
