VegOttawa Association is thrilled to announce that VegOttawa Fest will return to the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre on Saturday July 25, 2026, from 10am to 5pm. Admission is FREE! (Donations to VegOttawa are appreciated and will be accepted at the door.)
This will be VegOttawa’s second veg fest in recent history, after a successful re-launch in 2025. Historically, thousands of people from across the city and beyond have gathered at annual veg fests to try new foods, meet new people, and learn from leaders in the movement. With plant-based foods more popular than ever before, this event is one you won’t want to miss.
This one-day event will bring together a diverse audience—from seasoned vegans to the veg-curious—for a fun, informative, and engaging experience. Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Hear from inspiring leaders and experts in the vegan movement
- Connect with plant-based businesses and brands
- Engage with local community organizations
- Sample a wide variety of delicious plant-based foods

Exhibitors
The heart of VegOttawa Fest is the trade show, and we are thrilled to be able to showcase vegan and vegan-friendly organizations to a very engaged audience. In 2026, we expect to feature over 70 exhibitors, from food, drink and merchandise vendors to service-based businesses and non-profits.
Organizations interested in exhibiting can apply to be part of the tradeshow using our Exhibitor Application Form. Please note that applications must be approved before being confirmed, and that our team of hardworking volunteers will get back to you about your application as soon as possible.

Our sponsors and partners are integral to making VegOttawa Fest possible, and accessible to a wide audience. We are a 100% volunteer-run organization with a limited budget, and support from sponsors is instrumental in allowing us to host a successful, accessible, fun event for the Ottawa community. Speakers
New in 2026, we are excited to launch our Call for Speakers! If you are interested in being part of our speaker programming this year, we invite you to review our Call for Speaker Guidelines and then apply online using our Speaker Application Form. The deadline to apply is Sunday, March 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
Please note that we will consider up to two session proposals per speaker, and that we will contact selected speakers in early April. We look forward to reviewing your application!
Volunteers
We’re always looking for volunteers to join our planning team! We ask that volunteers be prepared to dedicate at least 2 hours per week to supporting our event until late July. VegOttawa Fest is a one-day, indoor event featuring an exciting tradeshow, a full program of expert speakers, and family-friendly activities. It brings together a diverse crowd, from vegans to those who are veg-curious. It’s Ottawa’s only event of it’s kind, and it’s fully free to attend!

What are the long-term plans for VegOttawa Fest?
We revived VegOttawa Fest in 2025 after a hiatus stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, and our hope is to continue running the event annually and to eventually expand it to be over two days, as it was before 2020.
