VegOttawa Fest will return to the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre on Saturday July 25, 2026, from 10am to 5pm. Admission is FREE! (Donations to VegOttawa are appreciated and will be accepted at the door.)

VegOttawa Fest is open to everyone, whether you are a seasoned vegan or just veg-curious. Attendees will have the chance to:

  • Hear from inspiring leaders and experts in the vegan movement
  • Connect with plant-based businesses and brands
  • Engage with local community organizations
  • Sample a wide variety of delicious plant-based foods

Exhibitors

The heart of VegOttawa Fest is the trade show, and we are thrilled to be able to showcase vegan and vegan-friendly organizations to a very engaged audience. In 2026, we expect to feature approximately 70 exhibitors, from food, drink and merchandise vendors to service-based businesses and non-profits.

Interested in exhibiting? Apply to be part of the tradeshow using our Exhibitor Application Form. Please note that applications must be approved before being confirmed, and that our team of hardworking volunteers will get back to you about your application as soon as possible. We intend to close exhibitor applications after June 30.

Volunteers

Planning and hosting a festival is no small feat! We are looking for 30+ volunteers to help us run the event on July 25, which requires being available for at least one predetermined shift at the Fest venue and attending one (1) training session in the weeks prior. Attendee Bingo – grab a program at Guest Services on your way in and see if you can find people that match the bingo squares!

Artist Alley – check out some work by vegan artists and make a purchase – a portion of the proceeds will be donated to help animals.

What is VegOttawa Fest?

VegOttawa Fest is a one-day, indoor event featuring an exciting tradeshow, a full program of expert speakers, and family-friendly activities. It brings together a diverse crowd, from vegans to those who are veg-curious. It’s Ottawa’s only event of it’s kind, and it’s fully free to attend!

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

Why does VegOttawa host VegOttawa Fest? 

More people than ever are interested in a vegan lifestyle, and for good reason! A plant-based lifestyle is kinder to animals, better for our health, gentler on the planet, and budget-friendly. Millions of people across Canada are actively changing their diets to prioritize plant-based foods. 

VegOttawa Fest provides an inclusive platform where the public can discover how easy it is to be vegan, supporting VegOttawa’s vision of creating a close-knit and growing plant-based community in Ottawa.

What are the long-term plans for VegOttawa Fest?

We revived VegOttawa Fest in 2025 after a hiatus stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, and our hope is to continue running the event annually and to eventually expand it to be over two days, as it was before 2020.
