OTTAWA FOOD BANK HOLIDAY DONATION | 300 Tofurky Roasts!!!

We are very happy to be able to announce that for the second year in a row we’ve partnered with the Ottawa Food Bank to help feed 300 families who are looking for a plant-based holiday meal this month.

The Ottawa Food Bank has been a pleasure to work with and we look forward to continuing this partnership into next year and beyond. Last year we made a donation of 114 Tofurky roasts. We’re thrilled that the feedback received was all positive and that the demand for plant-based options has increased (almost tripled!).

If you’d like to make a contribution towards the cost of the roasts, then you can send an etransfer with comment “Tofurky 2020” to etransfers.vegottawa@gmail.com.
Each roast had a cost of $12 cdn

A special thank you to Mark(VegOttawa VP) & Dean(VegOttawa Secretary) and their partners, Erika & Victoria for helping make this possible this year. And of course, to the Ottawa Food Bank, the rest of the VegOttawa Association Board of directors and all organization members, well done and Happy Holidays. Let’s celebrate and then get out of this thing known as “2020”! 😉 Onwards and upwards. 💚💚
